Heffernans Hemp was founded by two lifelong friends from London who registered the company in August 2020 — not as a side hustle, but because they were fed up with an industry that kept selling people short.
By 2025, they made the hard call: walk away from the UK market, saturated with diluted products and household-name chains pushing inferior CBD. They researched Poland, then found their true home — the Czech Republic, a nation with a thousand-year hemp tradition and Europe’s most quality-focused regulatory environment.
Now fully operational in the Czech Republic with indoor, pharmaceutical-grade cultivation and pursuing the highest medical licensing in Europe, everything we make follows the same rule it started with: if it’s not good enough for us, it doesn’t go out the door.
